  • Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning, in direction of Agdz through Tizi (pass) N'Tnififte
  • After a stop in Agdz, you drive to Zagora through the huge palmgrove of the Draa
  • Wisit of Tinfou sand dunes, the first dunes of the Sahara nearby Ouarzazate
  • Lunch in Zagora
  • Wisit of Tamegroute, its famous zawyia (religious brotherhood) which library contains precious manuscripts, and the potteries, known through all Morocco.
  • Return to Ouarzazate at the end of the day.

Todra gorges

Any vehicule possible.

  • Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning towards Skoura, along the lake made by the Mansour Eddahbi dam.
  • Wisit of Skoura and Amridihl Kasbah
  • Through El Kelaa M'Gouna and Roses valley, you reach Tinerir and Todra gorges, where you have lunch.
  • Making your way back to Ouarzazate, visit of Tinerir palm gardens and Roses valley's small Berberb villages.

Boumalne du Dades

  • Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning towards Skoura
  • In Skoura, you visit Amridhil Kasbah, then drive off-road towards El Kelaa M'Gouna
  • Visit of the AIt Youl kasbah, built by the Glawi.
  • You reach the entrance of Dades gorges, where you have lunch.
  • Return to Boumalne du Dades, then Ouarzazate

Telouet casbah

  • Telouet Casbah, one of the eagle nests of the Glawis, was overseeing the road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, before the road by Tichka was built.
  • You drive by Anemetre kasbah, in a splendid berber village
  • You have lunch in Telouet, and visit the kasbah
  • You return to Ouarzazate by the Tichka road, and visit Ait Ben Haddou ksar

A half a day trip to discover this very beautiful oasis. You will see the traditionnal watering system. You have lunch there, hosted by the inhabitants of the village.

Aït Ben Haddou

Leaving in direction of Marrakech, you pass by the studio (which you can visit, if there is no movie shooting. Entrance fee to be paid). You arrive on the top of the hill in front of this wonderful ksar. (Fortified village).

Taking the road down to the village, you visit it, and admire the view over the area, before coming back to Ouarzazate.
